The Cremation Society of the Carolinas, Inc. has been providing families throughout the area with a secure location for cremation services since 1974.  We were founded to provide a low cost alternative in Funeral Care for families wishing not to continue with Traditional Burial Services. Over the years, we provided services to families of; Chapel Hill, Durham, Raleigh, Hillsborough, Pittsboro, Wake Forest, Garner, Fuqua-Varina, Cary and Knightdale and extended our area of services in North Carolina from the Triangle, to the Outer Banks, to the Mountains and north to many areas of Virginia.

We offer many cremation service options including; Simple Cremation (Direct Cremation), Cremation with Memorial Services and Traditional Funeral Services with Cremation.  Our contemporary facility complements these offerings with allowing families a choice between an intimate Memorial area for small services, a separate Chapel for a traditional feel and a Reception Center to receive friends.  For your convenience, we also have a selection room of cremation merchandise including Urns and Memento items.  For your peace of mind, our Licensed Cremation Technicians operate our own cremation unit and oversee the complete process without outsourcing this delicate procedure (many other providers rely on other companies to provide the actual cremation).
